We charge the small amount of £10.00 to attend the "Try-Dive" session.   (Minimum age for a Try-Dive is 12)

The training that you receive as a member will be supervised by one of our nationally qualified instructors. We make no additional charges for the training you will receive, all we ask is that you are a fully paid member of the club. The club equipment is loaned to the trainee for use in the pool environment.When you reach the open water stage of your training, it will be necessary for you to start to purchase your own equipment, or expect to hire the items from the dive site or local dive shop.

Club membership fees
The total cost for a new member requiring training is £218.00.  This includes club fees of £125.00, BSAC fees of £52.00 and a one off fee of £41.00 for your initial training material required, which includes A Diving Manual, Training Notes, and Qualification Record Log Book.

The membership cost for a qualified diver is £177.00, this includes the annual National BSAC membership fee of £52.00 and the club fees of £125.00. The Club fee is used to meet the clubs overheads, hiring the pool, running, mooring and maintaining the club boat and equipment.

Club membership fees for Students under the age of 18
The total cost for a new student member requiring training is £157.00.  This includes reduced club fees of £90.00, BSAC fees of £26.00 and  a one off fee of £41.00 for your initial training material required, which includes A Diving Manual, Training Notes, and Qualification Record Log Book.

The membership cost for a student qualified diver is £116.00, this includes the annual National BSAC membership fee of £26.00 (this type of BSAC membership fee does not include voting rights) and reduced club fees of £90.00. The Club fee is used to meet the clubs overheads, hiring the pool, running, mooring and maintaining the club boat and equipment.

NOTE: Fees may be paid by Direct Debit, and from your second year, the club fee may be paid in 3 equal installments of £41.67, please ask for details.

The Qualification Record Log Book is your Passport to diving, being recognised worldwide.

Once you complete your pool training, sheltered water dives, theory lectures and exam, you will be qualified to dive from the club boat, which is permanently moored in Brighton Marina. The charge for this is £15 for a single dive or £20 for two dives (all from one cylinder).
